Design and Optimization of High Ground Clearance Self-Propelled Sprayer Chassis Frame

As an important machine for agricultural application, the upland gap self-propelled sprayer is environmental friendly and operates efficiently. In this paper, chassis frame, which one of components sprayer, studied a disconnected longitudinal beam frame with X-shaped reinforcement was designed. The static mechanical properties under bending, torsion, emergency braking turning conditions are analyzed by finite element method, optimization idea proposed. On basis, topology method applied to optimize crossbeam positions, resulting in 2.2% reduction overall mass 19.4% maximum deformation while maintaining small change stress bending condition, 4.1% 15.1% torsion respectively. section width thickness parameters were optimized multi-objective driven optimization. results showed that reduced 6.8% 1.9%, respectively, condition at cost slight increase deformation.
